Passed my exam 9xx/1000 today. No need to use dumps, 9tut “new questions and sims” are enough to pass the exam. 1 D&D (initializing, selecting, requesting…) and 3 sims in the exam ( ACL 1, ACL 2 and EigrpGre).

Passed ICND2 ! I must say what was hard and difficult, but I approved. I suggest you study and practice thoroughly, since not all questions are in 9tut. I had two exam sims from Ospf and Eigrp the questions were the same but the answers were not. Also 3 new drag and drops and 3 drag an drop old.

    Cheers!

Could someone please help with question 2 of the EIGRP Troubleshooting

    Question 2
Which path does traffic take from R1 to R5?
    A. The traffic goes through R2.
    B. The traffic goes through R3.
    C. The traffic is equally load-balanced over R2 and R3.
    D. The traffic is unequally load-balanced over R2 and R3.

    9tut says C others say A

    R1#Show ip route
    D 10.5.5.5 [90/2300416] via 192.168.13.3, 02:48:36, Serial0/0/1
    [90/2300416] via 192.168.12.2, 02:48:36, Serial0/0/0
    D 192.168.123.0/24 [90/2172416] via 192.168.12.2, 02:49:13, Serial0/0/0
    [90/2172416] via 192.168.13.3, 02:49:13, Serial0/0/1

This shows a equal load balancing

    R1#traceroute 192.168.123.

    Type escape sequence to abort.
    Tracing the route to 192.168.123.5

    1 192.168.12.2 8 msec 0 msec 1 msec
    2 192.168.123.5 1 msec 1 msec 0 msec

This output shows that R1 took R2 to get to R5

What is the right method to use in the exam? I am confused. Please help!

    @Great! / people

    what is PIPO PIPR?

    :(

  29. Mac
    February 18th, 2020

    Alex, C is correct.
You can see that in the routing table, both networks have equal administrative distance/metric.

  30. Response to Alex
    February 18th, 2020

@Alex, when you do a traceroute the balanced traffic will need to choose one of the interfaces, it will not show both. In this case @9tut’s answer is correct, it is balanced since on the routing table is shown:
    D 192.168.123.0/24 [90/2172416] via 192.168.12.2, 02:49:13, Serial0/0/0
    [90/2172416] via 192.168.13.3, 02:49:13, Serial0/0/1
Meaning the destination is being reached via those two links with the same metrics 90/2172416
Therefore, it uses both R2&R3 equally. Hope my answer helps
