So passed the exam last week. I did so well that I worry they ban me. Really. Being anonymous, I will say achieved at least 1 100% but less than 6 100%’s of 6 sections.
I did a lot to pass:
All Jeremy’s IT Lab video’s
All his labs(no boson)
All Flashcards 1.5 times.
Took 6 months about.
On 9 tut went through all Q’s 5-11 2 times, once in mini section of each section, once when I took the “all questions exam” for section.
I took all Basic through Misc questions 1 time.
I did 8 to 10 labs on here based on ones people said were most common on exams. I had at least 2 of those.
However, I also have almost 10 years in the industry and had been away for 8 years.
Before taking the exam I took 9 tut 102 question composite exam 2x, passing w/ 90 and 93.
I took the 50 Question composite exam 1 time and passed with a 90.
I had 86 question and 3 lab.
I can’t remember all 3 because brain was on supercharge so memory not on. Is a real thing. Anyway 2 lab I remember were static routing, sim 5, you only have access to routers 5, 1 and 2 on there so different than how I solved here. Also, english on sim not so clear so understand it. Other lab I remember had 3 switches in triangle, set up a trunk for all vlans, and LACP between SW1 and 2, one negotiating one waiting. Then between 1 and 3 and 2 and 3 set links so native vlan is 15. But that is all it say about connection 1-3, 2-3. set the native vlan, but is not a trunk and does not say to make a trunk. I chose to make trunk because that’s only place I know native vlan exist. On trunks. Searching around after test seem to say was right choice.

I can’t help about discussion about new or old questions, but I recognized almost all questions. There were 3-5 questions with a WLC pic asking how to config to do X. can’t remember x but I’d seen them here. Good luck on your exam! Work hard, is easy.

@SharpMarble, aside from the other sites and resources, was the composite quizzes enough on this site?
CiscoGuy, 9tut says pass long composite quiz 10 times before taking exam. If you do 6-8 and are improving in scores 75-95 my guess would be enough. If you have 10 days, do 1 / day, as long as you understand concepts on 90% you are good, because some are funny wording or are wrong and understanding questions means no need to remember or memorize.
