Real CCNA 640-802 Questions and Answers

lucky zoomy 08-02-2009 hi all, I have passed CCNA with score 916. Thanks to 9 tut labs and killtest 13.02 the exam was so easy. However, subnetting is essential to pass the exam. I found change in the RIP V2 Lab in Ethernet network 209.165.202.128/27 router has third assignable host address in subnet. Serial network is 192.0.2.176/28 - router has last assignable host address in the subnet. Interfaces should be enabled. Note that in 9 tut has mentioned in Ethernet the last subnet which is different from the question i got today and the Serial IP address also have changed. It might be that every exam will differ from time to time in subnetting and the choice order so, be ready by studying will subnetting and understanding the answer of the question inside the dump. Finaly Labs I got was : NAT, RIPv2, ACL and Frame relay. Regards, lucky zoomy

Ess 08-03-2009 Failed the exam last week with 818, came back this week n nailed it with 986...Thanx for this site for pointing out my minor mistakes like saving my configs and typing full commands.

Rik 08-03-2009 Passed with 875 on 27th July with help from Todd Lammle book, pass4sure and this site. Got the RIPv2 sim and the NAt sim. All 4 questions are in the pass4sure but be carefull as they mix up the answers. Make sure you cram the pass4sure just before exam to pass.

Saqib 08-04-2009 Hi all, I passed CCNA just two hours ago and got 972 marks. It was a very easy exam. I only prepaired Killtest V 13.02 + Sims from 9tut. Sims were ACL, NAT ,Frame Relay and RIPv2. I Can say that all the questions were from KillTest V13.02. It was two hours test and i completed it in one hour. Best of luck U All.

EddieD 08-05-2009 Thank you 9tut. I took the exam earlier and got 972/1000. the sims were all from 9tut. most quesions were from p4s. Some questions had additionaly options that were not listed in p4s. I had several Wireless questions, and 3-4 IPv6 questions. I'm very happy with my result. Thanks all for sharing.

Adam 08-08-2009 Hello ALL, thanks GOD I passed the exam was freakingg eazy, finished it in like 30 minutes. IT had NAT, RIPV2, ACL, and a frame-relay. Study that 75 questions and you'll definetly get a minimum of 90% BTW I scored a 97% and all I did was memorize every answer LMAO

CCNA certified 08-08-2009 @all: You should use p4s and 9tut lab sim because they contain all questions you might see in your exam. Killtest only has a smaller database than p4s.

All the dumps contain more or less the same questions,so be confident and prepare well. No need to panic at all. Even if the dumps change when ur gonna take the exam, just have a look of it once. You must concentrate basically on subnetting. Its the most imp part of all.

Niraj 08-11-2009 @all who are preparing for 640-802: Guys there gonna be questions from all the topics of the exam syllabus whether it be ipv6 or WLAN or ...(there are marks for each topic) For Simulations: All questions are gonna come from those posted on this site(will ALL IP addresses changed). So be clear with ur subnetting. Study the dumps twice and the sims properly.All questions usually come from the dumps with more options though the correct answers are same. ( Say if in dumps there are 4 options for a question, the real exam would have 6 options. The correct answer will however be the same). Note:The questions containing IP address will have different IP addresses. Hope this helps you all. All the best guys. Hope you all are successful in your first attempt. Guess this solves most of your querries.

Niraj 08-12-2009 @Ciscofever: For me there were no questions from ipv6 but my friends did get a few questions from it. Just go through the dumps. The questions would be similar to dat, just some basics about ipv6, like identifying corrects ip addresses using ipv6... And for WLAN too the questions given in dumps are self sufficient.

eddie 08-13-2009 had RIPv2, NAT - that were tasks u have to configure. Than access control lists u need to perform sh run to see all the config, and then had frame relay - u need to use some show commands also...etc sh frame relay map, sh run...think that is all I had from labs. Do not forget to practise subneting almost 70 pers of questions were related to subnets. do not worry certification is quiet simple!

Rem 08-14-2009 Hello all, I just did my ccna exam and there was one question about OSPF that puzzled me to why I wasn't able to fill the routing table with ospf routes. The question had 3 routers named london (Rtr A), Madrid (Rtr B) and Paris (Rtr C). All connected in a row on their serial ports. Rtr A was just added to Area 0 and now the routing tables are not being able to update itself. Before it was working perfectly. Do the necessary configuration to get the routing table working. That's what the question was asking. When I ran show running_config on Rtr A, the network for hosts on Rtr B was in area 1 while everything else was in area 0. I went ahead and corrected the network by putting a no network x.x.x.x... command and put the correct network x.x.x.... and the wildcard mask was also wrong instead of 0.0.0.4, it should've been 0.0.0.3 since it was /28. Did anybody remember doing this question on the ccna exam. I tried everything to get a neighbor relation going and exchange route and update the routing table in all 3 routers. blink 08-15-2009 @Rem are you sure that the correct wildcard mask of /28 is 0.0.0.3 ? because /28 has a block size of 16, and the wildcard mask of /28 is a block size minus 1. It mins 16 - 1 = 15, therefore your wild card mask is 0.0.0.15. Please let me know if Im correct. Rem can you remember all the details about that OSPF lab so that we analyze it better.

You should check 9tut's config again, pay particular attention to which interface IP NAT Outside is applied to. This will fix your immediate problem of not being able to ping 192.02.114. However you should also understand that just because it works, does not necessarily mean that your config is 100% correct. You should also be aware that immediatley asking others to solve your problems does you no favours in developing your networking knowledge. Take your time on this stuff, and you will be rewarded, believe me. All the best for Monday. Let us know how you get on. Cheers

maveric 08-16-2009 hello all By the grace of ALLAH ALMIGHTY , I passed the CCNA 640-802 with 986 marks on 13th August This is a great website and i would like to thank 9tut and mahajuntion for helping. All the sims I got were from 9tut.com I got NAT, ACL and Frame realy and RIP configuration as far as I remeber in the exam. Regarding the dumps i used 1. P4S v 7.58 2. Kill test (v13.02) 184 Questions 3. .vce file with 136 Question (I guess) 4. The 75 questions at http://www.cert.ntut.edu.tw/cert/CCNA1-75.htm I mean most of the questions will overlap if you go through all these. So I guess doing all 4 of them is an overkill. Lastly I would like to wish every one the best of luck !

maveric 08-17-2009 @VA CCNA taker I took the exam on 13th of August. I got 986. P4S v 7.58 was really useful. As far as I remember, almost all the questions came from it. In my opinion if you combine P4S with Kill Test v13.02 you are in a real good shape for the exam as far as the non sim questions are concerned. I say this because for some questions, the P4S does not provide all the options to choose an answer from, however the Kill Test mostly does. And for the Sim question this site (9tut.com) is awesome. Hope that helps.

For al those who wil face CCNA exam n worried, i have few tips fr u frndz frm my personal experience. Jus follow it and u wil pass the exam 100% 1. All multi choice Ques cames frm PS4(as it is), so jus do it as many times as possible b4 exam. (just no. of optns increases frm 4 to 6 to choice frm..) 2. Do al simulation frm 9tut ,it wil not b frm outside 9tut ( must clear ur concepts, better try to understand it properly) 3. Read the Questions carefully while exam. See al the given optn and thn click. 4. Must see the tutorial (optn came on screen b4 exam starts). 5. And must important of all dont WORRY and hv faith on ur self, u wil surly clear it. James 08-21-2009 Exam is very similar to p4s 7.58, passed yesterday with 974/1000. Had RIP, NAT simulations; Frame Relay, ACL hotspots. If you understand subnetting and have no problems with configuring the router you should pass easily. Tab key is working for some of the basic commands (e.g. enable, interface etc), but not for NAT configuration commands. Best, James

hrishi17 08-25-2009 appeared for ccna today . passed. total 44 questions. 2 labs (NAT + RIP v2 ) all were same as discussed here on this site. many questions were asked from this site.. i studied from kill test V13 test inside V11 pass4sure7.53, 9tut , books , certcollection.org website guys try knowing the concept & implementing them..don't mug/byheart the answers from this p4s,killtest,testinside..it won't help because they change the IP add & subnetting would be required. so get the concept. frame-relay quests were asked in exam which is also discussed on this site. please find it. quest related to topics like IPv6, VTP, Vlan , Drag + drop source & destination MAC were asked. but were very simple (these quests are also mentioned in killtest / p4s / testinside) overall be calm + composed while giving exam. use " sh running-config " / & verify your results by pinging in lab. THERE IS NO BACK KEY OPTION IN EXAM ( i didn't know that when i gave my first shot as i didn't read the instructions carefully either) hope you all know about it. like incase if you hit next button & go to a different quest like from 5th quest---->>next ------>>6th question you cannot revert back to 5th questions. once clicked next is done. you cannot come back to same questions good luck. Jerhone 08-26-2009 to TinTin, my lab sims wer the hotspot frame-relay, ripv2, and configuration. all of those lab sims came from 9tut. but you have to understand them because the ip will change and also the router names. all other multiple choice questions are from pass4sure 8.16 and killtest word for word (verbatim). even killtest's multiple choice arrangement was exact. god bless TinTin. *just understand everything and you are good to go.

CCNA exam was not as tough as i thought...so guys be relaxed...concentrate on the material that u learn, focus on the concepts and u will get everything right... dumps should be ur last resort as ur practice questions, though few of them repeated in my exam but you never know about the trap..so dont keep an eye on any question like "hey, this question looks familiar and appeared in dump blah blah!!!". Rather, focus on ur concepts and hands-on practice...

Good way to understand how things work. Next start practicing your Subnetting. This is vital if you wan to pass your ccna. Next practice your labs and just getting used to the whole feel of routers and switches. When your exam is scheduled start practicing with exam questions and scenarios. This exam is fair, and if your going to pass it you need to know how to answer the questions. What happens if they change a few IPs or a few questions and answers in different order? your fcuked. So practice practice and keep revising. Best of luck

For this, u will have to cram the basics of few popular commands like sh run, sh ip int etc..... The more you practice, the better are the chances for getting closer to a great score...Help command worked for me today in certain questions but dont rely on it.

Sims are not arrange at the end of exam. They can come between the exam. I used p4s 7.58, killtest 13.02 as a polish tool before i sit for exam. Please don't think all the answers from these dump are correct. You can check with your knowledge what is wrong. p4s 7.63 is not so different with 7.58.

Study Materials/Methods: Formal Classes (1 month course) Sybex CCNA Study Guide Packet Tracer with Boson Lab Tutorials 9tut for sims (all sims came from here) Killtest 13.02 (all questions came from here) My advice would be to use braindumps as an avenue to test your knowledge and understand/research answers that you get wrong. Don't just memorize it. Yes, it'll help if you can remember the questions as well if they come up on the test, but study so that you can pass without it. It won't help you on the sims. Thanks 9tut.com for all the help. A CCIE told me that CCNA is nothing....keep studying for the CCNP or CCNA specializations. He couldn't even let me enjoy the moment, but it's an achievement for me. :)

fang 09-01-2009 Thank you for your help 9tut! I passed the exam of 44 questions with a score of 958. The sims i had were RIPv2, access-list, NAT, Frame relay There were questions from p4s 7.58 The sims were like the 9tut sims, except different IPs. All questions had more choices. From what I remember i had multiple choice questions over the following info: default routes, static routes, WAN, WLAN, STP, VTP, VLAN, trunking, IPv6, cable types, OSPF, EIGRP, RIPv2, ADs, subnetting, and summarized routes. On the sims, I miss typed a few words and the IOS told me invalid input at marker just the same as an actual cisco IOS. The "?" works just fine, i used it a few times. Study whatever cisco material you can get your hands on. Use packet tracer to practice sims. the sims work nearly the same as packet tracer so it would be good pracitice so you don't waste time figuring out how to work the sims. test your knowledge with a practice test like p4s.

Anonymous 09-02-2009 I passed my ccna and I did study like crazy I read 4 ccna books did labs eigrp/nat, Ospf/framerelay/nat, RIPV2, and STP/VTP labs, did alot of labs used packet tracer to see how the packets are changed between routers and how root switches are selected. Took the ICND1 and ICND2 classes. Watched CBT Nuggets Video twice and also Train signal CCNA. Practice subneting and route summarization. studied around 8 hours a day for two months..lol even dreamed about labs everynight. Finally i used ps4 to test my self.

DP 09-04-2009 I took the exam today and passed with a 902. The exam was loaded with simulations. I had the frame-relay sim the Access-List sim and the Rip V2 sim and also the natting sim. This website helped me tremendously. Just follow 9tut instructions on how to do the sims and you'll be fine. My natting host was for 62 hosts. So know youe masking. DP 09-05-2009 Responding to request if Testinside and Killtest is enough. I took the exam on 8/24 and got a 650 I knew how to do most of the material but I purchased Testinside and it made a huge difference. Like I said I took it yesterday and got a 902 it should have been higher I screwed up on a couple sims my own dumb mistake. But I was totally prepared.There wasn't one question on my real exam that wasn't in Testinside. I had a lot of drag and drops ad they where all covered by Testinside. If you know the material from Testinside you should pass. Good Luck

New CCNA 09-06-2009 Thanks to 9tut. I just passed CCNA with 930. I did the course a couple of years ago, but when I checked pass4sure study aids it was much harder than it used to be. I found the 9tut website the night before my exam, and it really helped me to be prepared for the 4 lab sims I had (ACL, configuration, NAT and EIGRP). I definately wouldn't have passed without the extra help from this site, thanks again.

DP 09-06-2009 To I'm Worried, Testinside had 161 Q@A's on it. It was updated last on 8/10. I studied like crazy to learn the natting sim it ws on my test again.Also learn the drag and drops I had 6 of them and they where all covered on Testinside. The dumps do prepare you for just about everything. There wasn't one question on the exam that I haven't seen before. I finished my exam in 45 minutes. You should do fine. Good luck

DP 09-07-2009 Hi again I'm worried, the Testinside 11.69 is the latest and the most recent dumps.The questions are pretty much spot on with what the braindumps are. The sims are the same just changing the numbers for natting and also frame relay. If you have the Killtest and Testinside concept down pat and know how to do the sims per 9tuts. explanations you will be well prepared, I can almost guarantee you you will get the natting sim on your exam. Frank 09-07-2009 Hi everyone, Today I answered CCNA exam. 1st question was NAT sim, 3 question was Frame relay simlet and 6 question was Access-list simlet. I managed to get 1000/1000 marks. THANK YOU 9TUT, U MADE MY DAY I also got RIP2 sim, please not you have to type the Default network address if it is 192.168.2.35, then the Network command will be Network 192.168.2.0 becoz Rip2 expects you to enter as if it was CLASSFUL. Resources I used for the Exam: CCNA videos by Great Jeremy Cioara ICND1 and ICND2 by Wendell Odom All questions are from killtest v13.02, p4s 7.58 and 9tut sim labs is sufficient to score . But you have to master Subnetting . I have to mention,I have full time Technical Support job supporting firewalls, Managed switches, Wireless, VPN for some off-brand company. 44 question in total, 2hours. Only one question was different, that was from frame-relay simlet. Where they had Chap authentication and asked for the password. you have to check in the Running config: Username XYZ password ABC. it was easy Please understand the Question and it will be stroll in the park. Frank 09-07-2009 Sorry to everyone for my horrible english. I meant 1st question was NAT sim, 3rd question was Frame relay simlet and 6th question was Access-list. In frame relay I got the question , if required what password is required to connect to Dubai router from Router "B". In the running config I found the interface connected to router " B" was configured with Chap authentication. I checked the running config for the Username and password . I found Username "router B "and password " xyxs". So i marked xyxs as the ans. please don't mark the ans blindly . This was the only question i got, which was not present from the access-list in the pass4sures.

I just appeared for CCNA exam today, couldnt clear it :( ....scored a measly 790 (required is 825, a friendly reminder to ppl who mite not know ) da lady who was in the exam centre also told me "you jus missed it!!", yea kinda made me feel more miserable!! lol..... Alrite information for CCNA aspirants!! p4s 7.63/7.58 is more than enough, for dumps.... Plz dont cram the dumps...u need to understand it a lil bit more dont worry there is nothing to panic , the exam is very very easy ( i ll get on to the place where i messed).....itz just like going through the dumps.... the place i messed was NAT SIM, i jus kinda screwed it up....i cud only complete the lab 25%, frame relay was a repeat ( scored full 100% in dat ) and RIP V2 was also there....all labs...are from 9TUT....dis website is a gift for CCNA aspirants..if only i cud have seen dis website more ... Frank 09-08-2009 To future CCNA exam takers. You will get 2 hours or more for your exam. Which is more than enough. So you can spent around 10-15 mins on the Simulations. Please don't panic. To cool down your nerves, take the initial exam tour 2-3 times before the Exam. This will give you time to relax. All the Simulations are from 9tut. Best of luck to everyone

But if you goolge for pass4sure 7.73 you will find it or p4s 7.73 Ther was one easy dragndrop to find proper source/dest mac and ip addresses, there were two IPV6 related quiestions, stp, vtp. several easy quiestions with source addresses to find, wlan, so I would say pretty much everything was covered at least for one simple question from the ccna objectives. However I had no questions about OSI layer but of course it doesnt mean you wont. examtomorrow 09-09-2009 1.If you are prepared well then go for the composite, I do not think it is easier in two parts. 2. 7.73 3. it looks very similar to Boson Netsim 4. I don not know how many other labs are there but on my exams all of the were from this site, BUT there were minor but important differences like ip address/mask different inside/outside interfaces. If you understand the concepts and now the necessary commands you will do them easily. 5. 640-802 is 120minutes +20 minutes in case for non native English student I learned a lot, read two books watched cbt nuggets. Then I checked this site and p4s. Do not rely on the dumps as preparation material just use it to test yourself and find week spots.

That might as well depends on where do you take the exam, I believe if you take it in US,CA or UK you will probably not get any extra, so it depends on the location too. When you regsiter for the exam you will see before payment if the extra is granted or not, or you can call the nearest vue test center for advise or confirmation. I finished it in 1:30 with an easy slow speed double-triple checked everything in sims and tought through all the questions before pressing next button, I belive even the 120 is enough. Just read all the questions carefully and dont let it fool you if they look familiar to the Qs you saw, there could be extra options added or a valid replaced with true and truning the Q upside down. 2. 7.73 is the latest I havent seen 7.74 and doubt it exists yet. Whish you all luck, now I am grabbinbg some bsci stuff and dig deeper into routing.

I have the study materials called for but the first simulation hung me up....I was sitting there for perhaps 30 minutes....anyway, If I would have seen this site I would have been stuck on that problem for about 2 minutes....Your simulations are almost exact...I am still trying to find the braindump sims....Train Signal did not help me at all...And the P4S I found 2 days before the exam....Well this time I will go in much more prepared....I will be watching this site by 9tut to see if anything has changed before my next exam...I was wondering, will I receive that 44 question test again or will it be one of the 60 question tests? examtomorrow 09-11-2009 @altnaw R1 has static default route configured that points towards R2, furthermore it has the default-information originate enabled under the ospf process, that means the default route information will be advertised further. There will be arooting loop as R2 will get the info that R1 has default route so he will just send everything that has a less specific route to R1 then due to the static route in R1 it will send iot back to R2. So its a rooting loop but it will not prevent forming neighbor relationship, so C is correct imo.

I found it 3 days ago and if not that, i think i would be in a mess about simulations. I managed to pass just two hrs ago. I used pass4sure v7.58 and sims here. Sims were NAT,ACCESS LIST,RIPv2. Make sure u read the questions for NAT sims properly in exams, they change which address to assign hosts. Also learn the concepts, cram work may help but for a short time. In real world u must have the skills and concepts. It is far much better to go 1 exam i.e CCNA in one short. T s easier. The exam is so easy, do not panic, Videos is used cbt nuggets and trainsignal. Bt cbt is more than enough, For NAT go through Trainsignal. Wish u the best..

happyBoy 09-11-2009 Hey ramesh, if u hv also listened to some video tutorials or books like Todd Lamle, cbt nuggets or trainsignal. U would be at a very good advantage. Hopefully you did not just cram those questions in pass4sure and sims. Otherwise you will pass. No need to worry. You need to get the concepts and also work on routers or simulators. I did mine today using pass4sure v7.58 and sims here. U will make it.... good luck

zeldaII 09-11-2009 I took ICND1 (640-822) yesterday and passed with an 888. I thought the exam was very tough. I had Frame-Relay, Rip V2, the show ip interfaces sim where show run is disabled. I also had a sim that you had to click on a router and answer two questions and then clink on a switch and answer 2 questions for a total of 4 in the sim. I hadn't seen this question before. I also had a drag and drop that I hadn't seen. The choices were, dhcp, arp, rarp, dns, and a couple of others. the wording was very convoluted and tricky. I'm certain I missed it. I am going to start on ICND2 (640-816) now. What labs can I expect for this test? Does anyone have a link for p4s or the updated killtest for this exam?

I just want to know how you determined the mask for either the (inside local addresses range- 255.255.255.240) and the (inside global range 255.255.255.248). In spite of the question made no mention about it. I just wanted to know how u calculate the Netmask or the prefix length for global address given. Also the subnet mask for the access list. Because in real exam they dont specify the / values or netmask they just give the range of ips for global & local. Please any expert can help me how u get this.. Please my friends..

Enquiry about exam 09-11-2009 Hi 9 tut & all my friends I was giving my exam many times the exam hanged up, some error messages were popping up it was hanged for morethan 5 times & due to this lot of time was wasted so the instructor asked me to cancell this exam & he said he will reschedule it after discussing with VUE people. Im verymuch worried all my efforts went in vain. Instuctor told me he will call me in a day or 2 to give the next date. I really dont know what is next. When i logged in to Vue.com the status is empty neither pass/fail what does it mean & if i get a schedule date after howmany days will it be...Please Help me by replying, Im verymuch tensed about this..

Zak 09-15-2009 Hi, 9tut & everybody here ALL GLORY TO "ALLAH" BECAUSE OF HIM I PASSED ALHAMDULILLAH. I PASSED CCNA TODAY 15/09/09 I passed CCNA today, scored 916/1000. I got 44 questions and 140min. But Finished exam within 1 hour. All Simulations(Nat, Acl, RipV2, Frame-Relay) were from this website and about drag and drop, all were from P4s 7.63. I got 1 ipv6 question, and some new questions on OSPF, subnetting was easy but u need to be bit careful while solving the problems. If u know the concept u can play very well. Route summarization was covered, around 3 problems. Rest exam was easy, just need to be bit attentive while attempting. If i cud utilise more time i would have got even more better percentage. But Thanks to Allah anyhow i got 92% Materials used: CBT Nuggets CCENT & ICND2 for getting clear concept of CCNA, Todd Lammele 6th edition, A little practice of Lab with BOSON Simulator, Pass4sure 7.63 & 7.73, Kill Test 13.02 & important of all 9tut website for labs. Im a Telecomm Engineer by profession acquired CCNA to work with MPLS or IP Telephony. Now the employer gave me a chance today after seeing my result & asked me to choose one among two. Which is better among these??? Please reply me. Also is there any wonderful websites for the above 2. Its a humble request please reply me friends & 9tut in particular... Im very happy today i got my CCNA in 1st attempt with 92% Thanks 9tut for this wonderful website u rockkkkkkkkk.

examtomorrow 09-16-2009 @Zak, congratulations. MPLS would be the choice if you work for a service provider or you have plans to do so, IP Telephony can be used even on smaller scale so if you start with small enterprise then it might be better to start IP Tel first.

We got same marks(986).Thanks to Visual CertExam(VCE) ,Killtest13.02,P4S7.73,8.14& labs(9tut).U can read any of these...VCE or P4S 7.73/8.14...all r same. Even summarization were also as same as dumps, only NAT(IP), Framy relay(DLCI) changed. There are 44Q(40MCQs+2Labs(NAT,RIPv2)+2Sims(FR,ACL)). So don't worry about exam. All are easy. Hope for the best.

I've been visiting this site for past two weeks, today I cleared CCNA , got 986 of 1000, so just wanted to say thanks to 9tut for lab sims and all of you for sharing informations. Sims I've got: rip V2, nat, acls and frame relay. I've tested myself with p4sure 7.58 - it's stil valid so no worries about that. All sims are like those here but ip addresses, dlci's and names were changed. Be sure to know subnetting, it's a MUST for this exam, the rest was easy, also concepts about routing protocols and STP - there was many questions about switches and root bridge election/port designation. And one more thing, to solve the "myth" about frame relay password related question: It all depends on actual configuration for the given link: drop #show running-config to check what is there - if you see chap or pap, you'll know that there is PPP authentication installed so there must be password- browse the running-configuration and you will see the password just bellow the username configured for given link - in my case, in was "c0nso1e" - in your case, it might be something else. If there is no authentication or link is using default encapsulation, "no password" is the answer. Good luck!
